Testing with the AT33EV can be accomplished with the transmission, air conditioning, or auxiliary hydraulic pump, in or out of the vehicle, and without the need for activating the high voltage system. The key to the powerful diagnostic capability of the AT33EV is its ability to inform the user about the motor-generator state of health (SOH). The SOH information can assist the user in determining if there are any long, intermediate, or short term pending failures. This is a critical need for any diagnostic or repair facility in determining how to approach the rebuilding or repair of a system/component. This is also key to information about future pending failures so that they can make an informed decision about their vehicle. The AT33EV motor circuit analysis approach is far superior to using inferior testing methods that use ohmometers, milliohmeters, ammeters, tachometers, or voltmeters that can yield substandard and inaccurate results...that can cost you thousands of dollars in misdiagnosing components.
